My Star-Shaped Prism
At one time, I wore my star-shaped prism on a chain around my neck. Now it is inside the brown leather case resting on my nightstand by the bed. It is special to me. To me it is a symbol of our marriage our guiding light our guiding star. He has since bought me a wedding ring. Now and then, I take out my star-shaped prism, holding it in the palm of my hand looking at it, reminiscing the day he put it around my neck on our wedding day my substitute for a wedding ring.
